Ana B Castano is a Colombian-American architect and Project Manager whose career has unfolded across three continents, three languages, and decades of engagement with the build world. Trained in architecture and sharpened by years of international project management, she brings a rare combination of technical fluency and cultural depth to everything she touches.
Now permanently rooted in the Vienne region of France, Ana founded The Nomadic Dwelling from a position no importer or dealer can replicate - an american who lives inside French culture, speaks its language, reads its provenance, and understands precisely what the global luxury market desires. My experience
My formation spans architecture, project management, and cross cultural practice across Latin America, Europe, and beyond. I have led complex projects, navigated international clients, and developed an eye trained equally by rigorous technical discipline and a lifelong immersion in beautiful, considered spaces.
I speak English, French, and Spanish - not as a skill on a résumé, but as three distinct ways of understanding the world. That fluency is the foundation of everything The Nomadic Dwelling does.
My vision
The Nomadic Dwelling was not built on a trend. It was built on a conviction - that the most extraordinary objects in the world are not in showrooms. They are in French farmhouses, family estates, and forgotten ateliers, waiting for someone with the knowledge to recognize them and the network to move them.
My work is the bridge between those two worlds. Between the irreplaceable and the discerning. Between France and the global collector who refuses to settle for the ordinary.
